A week ago I received an emergency call from a client. She was going to an important red carpet event and her skin was acting up. With the cold weather and wind chills, her skin was feeling dry and tight. She felt as though there was a coating of dead skin and had so much discomfort. When she applied makeup, it looked scaly and rough. It was the day before the event and she didn’t know what to do and how to fix her skin.

So, this is what I recommended for her

2 tablespoon pumpkin puree (contains enzymes to slough off dead skin, has loads of antixodiants)
a pinch of cinnamon (stimulating and oxygenating)
a pinch of pumpkin spice (removing dead skin)
a pinch of Vitamin C powder (exfoliating)
2 tablespoon of the Rose serum spray (contains loads of hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump skin. Brings skin PH back to balance)
Blend all together, massage into skin for a 60 seconds and leave on for 15 minutes.

After the event, I followed up with my client and she couldn’t be happier. The film of dead skin came off, her skin felt more hydrated and the tightness was gone. She even received several compliments on her glowing skin.
Have you ever used pumpkin as a facial mask? If so, I would love for you to share your DIY recipe on my facebook page
