I’m a HUGE spa person but i must admit that i never considered getting a facial a relaxing experience. between someone looking thru your pores with a magnifying glass (lol) to squeezing and poking, i’ve never really enjoyed getting a facial…. well, until now! Cecilia Wong Skincare is no ordinary skin care salon!

I got a gift certificate from my honey for the oxygen facial and although i was looking forward to testing it out, it took me MONTHS to finally get myself to make an appointment. needless to say, i could not be more happy that i ended up going and not giving it away , from the moment you walk in, you, you become completely relaxed. as i layed there listening to cecilia, i was so impressed with the amount of knowledge that she was able to share during my visit. i felt like i learned so much more about taking care of my skin and that my skin got an amazing oxygen treat in the process. on top of that, everything that she uses is organic and i left feeling totally rejuvenated and glowing. With the amount of pollution that we walk thru everyday in NYC, our skin deserves a little pampering and cleaning. i would highly recommend anyone looking to have a renewed skincare experience….needless to say, i went again the week before my wedding day it was a pure delight!

I don’t really write review unless I feel that the service that I had experienced is top notch! I visited Cecilia 3 weeks ago. Before my first facial, my skin was lifeless and dehydrated. I was hoping that Cecilia could bring my “face” back to life. She started by analyzing my skin and telling me what she will be doing. She put layers and layers of mask on my face and removing all the impurities from my skin, specially my nose area. The final touch was the oxygen and she explained to me that oxygen was specially good for my dehydrated skin. At the end of the session, she recommended some products which are all organic. My skin looks radiant, tight and smooth even after 3 weeks. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Winter is fast approaching and yet, when I put a few tiny drops of Cecilia Wong Skincare’s Reviving Black Currant Serum on the palm of my hand to start my day each morning it is just like spring is still here! I love the scent, fresh and soft–not overpowering. Just smelling the scent makes me feel happy! The happiness continues as I put the oil on my face. It’s like my face wakes up and goes “rise and shine” which is an added benefit as I usually am not a morning person! The serum makes my skin look and feel smooth and it has a glow all day. My skin feels hydrated and nourished. I feel in a way that the serum also offers an added layer of protection for my sensitive skin as I go about my day in this busy city. I love that all the ingredients are natural and organically grown, too. It is obvious that Cecilia Wong puts a great deal of thought and care into her skincare products. We are so fortunate that she does so and that we have the opportunity to use and reap the benefits from her products. My face thanks her!

I’ve been going to Cecilia for over a year and have been using her products as well. I haven’t gotten around writing a review but here it is..She was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I had acne and wanted to start getting facials regularly. The first time I saw Cecilia, she was super friendly and sweet. The room was so calming and filled with such a pleasing smell. Cecilia analyzed my skin and immediately, she knew the cause of my acne in which I thought was pretty amazing (my dermatologist diagnosed me with the same condition). As soon as she touched my skin with her hands, it felt like magic, her facial massage techniques are incredible! With the comfortable bed , the pleasant aroma, the soothing music and her amazing massage,I actually fell asleep. She proceeded with the LED light therapy and ended with an Oxygen Spray. I noticed a huge difference instantly and the following day, my acne diminished.
All I can say is Cecilia is an expert in her field, she has incredible knowledge in all areas of skin care. She finds the root of the problem and treats them accordingly. She has become my Skin care coach. Her hands are like magic! I’ve always wanted acne free skin and NOW I have it, thanks to Cecilia! I’m so grateful for her help, expertise and care. She is my girl and I will not go anywhere else. Since going to her, I’ve been getting so many compliments and I can’t be happier!

I can’t remember where I first came across Cecilia Wong / Soie Aroma Spa- maybe Editor’s Closet or SpaSally. I have seen a lot of introductory offers and coupons from spas and estheticians all over the country but this is the only one I’ve ever tried on a whim and I could not be more glad that I did!

My first visit to Cecilia was in March. I was a little nervous because I have very sensitive skin and between travel and medication, my face has been suffering quite a bit the last couple of years. Cecilia was amazing from the first moment I met her- she looked at my skin and we talked about my skin history and some of the issues I have had with my face. Then she proceeded with the facial. The products are all organic and smell wonderful as they go on. She customized the treatment a bit as we went along based on what she thought my skin needed. A little light therapy to finish it off and when I got up my skin looked great. Healthy and clean and GLOWING! She even did some extractions which usually means going outside with some red spots on your face but somehow she managed to do the extractions and not leave any red marks.

We spent some time going over the products I was using and how I used them. She did not say I was doing anything wrong but made some recommendations for products and usage. I ended up buying a couple of ilike organic skin care (http://www.szepelet.com/) items from her and now they are a faithful part of my skin care regimen. Organic products really do make a difference!

I have seen Cecilia every chance I get – I do not currently live in NY or I’d see her far more – and am very happy with how she takes care of my skin and the products she recommends. Often she gives me samples of things to try to see how I like them, which is fantastic. It’s sometimes hard to feel truly clean in a city like New York, but after I leave Soie Aroma I definitely feel clean and refreshed and i know that my face looks (and feels) great!

On my last visit a week or so ago I bought a new serum that Cecilia created herself for her salon. It’s called Black Currant Serum and it’s for prevention and protection. I love how it makes my skin look and feel!

I went to Soie Aroma for a vitamin c facial a month ago and never got around to posting this review. But I was definitely glad I went! I had a great, relaxing experience and left feeling cleansed and refreshed. We talked about my regular skin care routine (it’s pretty minimal- I’m low maintenance, but enjoy going to spas once in a while to treat myself) and I ended up asking her about what products she sold and recommended before I left. She didn’t push anything on me but recommended a Hungarian apple mask, and told me I could thin it out with water and only needed to use it once or twice a week. I now love this product and will probably be back to visit Cecelia next time I’m in the mood for a facial.

Absolutely amazing. Cecilia really knows what she is doing, and although you may look a little scary right after getting the facial (the extractions turn a bit red), your skin is glowing within 24 hours, and by the end of the second day after you get it, you see such a difference. I was completely satisfied and am already contemplating my next visit. I highly recommend it, and you would be mindless not try it once.

This place is so unique you need to go and have an amazing facial. When you call to make an appointment Cecilia actually says each facial is customized to your skin and when you come it is true! When I arrived we discussed my skin and what I was looking for and I asked about the LED treatment — in the end her creating a facial specific for me. I had the LED therapy & oxygen in the end and I have to say my skin looked great!!! It was amazing how good my face looked and no extractions but my skin was SO clear. I went out that night to dinner with friends who were saying how good my face looked. I was very pleased with this customization that I never seen in the 10 years I have been getting facial at various places in Manhattan. Will definitely be returning!!!!!!! Everyone should check this place out!

I’ve had the same general doctor for my entire life, he’s the sort of guy who can diagnose you just walking in the door. Cecilia, though young, is that same sort of peron. She could tell exactly what my skin needed from the moment she laid eyes on me. This sort of instinct and high level of care is something I’ve rarely found in NYC where most places seem to have that factory style of revolving door customer service. Her treatment instantly made my winter-worn face feel revived and hydrated through her organic products, and the day after my treatment I’m hooked on soie and my skin is literaly glowing. I especially loved the oxygen treatment which is infused with a delicious lavender and is so refreshing. Our discussion about the importance of chemical free products has also completely changed my skin care regimen. I’ve already referred all my friends!
